Testicular Cancer Awareness stamp

... at least compared to breasts, they are.

In all seriousness, after doing a stamp for prostate cancer awareness, it's no surprise I'd do the same for testicular cancer.

While prostate cancer affects men in their 40s and over, testicular cancer affects boys and men in their prime years (18-39 to be exact). Although it seems to be less deadly than prostate, it also doesn't receive as much attention as breast cancer. Because hey, breasts are more important and valueable than balls RITE?

Many victims of this cancer have had to lose one of their testicles to help cure the cancer. Thats like half of their manhood wasted thanks to this disease. The most popular victim (or at least one of them) is Lance Armstrong, who had to go through all the struggle and rough times to fight this in particular cancer and it affected his career. But he luckily won and continued. And he, along with Movember, have done his best to help give more worldwide popularity to testicular cancer. But sadly, breast cancer still overshadows it, even to this day. As far as I know, the only symptons in testicular cancer are lumps and tumors in one testicle.

So if we should save the boobies, we should also save the balls! Even if it is not as deadly, that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve more awareness. Just like prostate cancer, there's barely any charities or campaigns to help support the victims. More awareness, means more support for the victims and more men aware of the fact. Stop testicular cancer!
